Private Lucius Chandler
Lucius Chandler was born in 1849 to Perez and Sarah Chandler. He had two older brothers, Jacob and Phillip.
In 1862, a thirteen year old Lucius Chandler enlisted in Marshfield, MA with altered documents. He joined the Company D, Massachusetts 22nd Infantry. He was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg, Devils Den, on July 1, 1863. He was captured as a prisoner of war and was taken to Belle Island Prison, in Virginia.
He died on February 28th, 1864. Private Chandler is buried at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Pembroke.
Due to his "altered documents" and conflicting records, Private Chandler's date of death on his gravestone is incorrect.

Charles C. Clark was born to Sarah (Cook) and Charles H. Clark on September 24th, 1844. He worked as a shoemaker. Clark enlisted as a musician to the Company I, Massachusetts 4th Infantry Regiment. At the time of enlistment, Clark was 5'7", with a fair complexion, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He died July 16th, 1863 from disease in New Orleans.
Charles C. Clark was born to Sarah (Cook) and Charles H. Clark on September 24th, 1844. He worked as a shoemaker. Clark enlisted as a musician to the Company I, Massachusetts 4th Infantry Regiment. At the time of enlistment, Clark was 5'7", with a fair complexion, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He died July 16th, 1863 from disease in New Orleans.
Private Robert Henry Cornell
Robert Henry Cornell was born on August 13th, 1841 to Mary (Almy) and William Cornell. They lived in Middleton, Rhode Island before moving to Pembroke.
Cornell worked as a farmer until he enlisted in the Company I, Massachusetts 4th Infantry Regiment on September 23rd, 1862. At the time, Cornell was described as being 5'3", with a florid complexion, brown hair, and dark eyes.
Private Cornell died on April 21st, 1863 in Carrollton, Louisiana.

James T. Cummings was born on May 24th, 1837, to Betsey (Lawrence) and Parker Cummings. At the age of twenty- two, Cummings married Mary L. Boldry of Abington.
Cummings worked as a shoemaker until he enlisted in the war on August 13th, 1862. He mustered out with his troop, the Massachusetts 40th Infantry Regiment, on August 22nd, 1862. Private Cummings was wounded in the Battle of Cold Harbor, VA. He died on June 21st, 1864.

On August 12th, 1861, Curtis enlisted in the G Company, Massachusetts 18th Infantry Regiment. He was wounded at the Battle of Laurel Hill, West Virginia and died on May 26th, 1864, of his wounds, in Washington DC.

He died on April 29th, 1863 of disease during the capture of New Orleans.
